The roster math behind your transfer.
Every FBS position room, scored against your stats, film, and eligibility. See where you'd start, and whether staying is the better call, before the portal window opens.
Sample data for illustration. Program names stay hidden until the full report.
How it works
Three inputs. One ranked list.
You give us a name and a school. We do the scouting report on every program at your position.
Tell us who you are
Name, school, sport. We pull your roster page, stats, film links, and recruiting history.
Confirm and set priorities
Fix anything that's off, then answer 6 questions: eligibility, where you sit now, and what matters most.
Get your number and a straight answer
Your number and a stay-or-go read are free. The full report names every program, breaks down each position room, and updates daily through the window.
The model
What goes into a fit score.
Six signals, all from public roster and stats data plus your own answers. You set the weights by ranking what matters to you, so two receivers with the same stats can get different lists. Before launch, we test the model against 3 past seasons of real transfers.
Sample weights for an athlete who ranked playing time first.
For families
A second opinion on your side of the table.
Transfer decisions happen in days, usually on a coach's pitch. The report gives your family the same roster math a coaching staff uses.
- 01IndependentNo program pays to be ranked. Built on school rosters and published stats, and your athlete confirms their profile before anything is scored.
- 02Honest when the answer is stayEvery report includes a stay-or-go read. Sometimes the best room is the one your athlete is already in.
- 03PrivateLookups are private. We never tell your athlete's school or coaches who ran one.
- 04No contact with coachesTransferSight never reaches out to programs. Check with your compliance office before anyone does.

Why this exists
I played at Utah. I watched good players sit behind seniors for years, then pick a transfer school on a coach's pitch and a gut feeling. The roster math was public the whole time. Nobody was doing it for them. Louie Sakoda, founder / Utah Athletics Hall of Fame, 2024
Questions
The short answers.
When does it open?
Before the January transfer portal window. Waitlist members get in first, in the order they signed up.
Where does the data come from?
Public school roster pages, published season stats, and signing-day announcements. You confirm your own profile before anything gets scored.
Will my coach find out?
No. Lookups are private, and we never tell your school or coaches who ran one. Nothing you enter is shared.
What if your data about me is wrong?
You check and fix your profile before you pay. If something's still off after that, we fix it and re-run your report free.
Does TransferSight contact coaches for me?
No. It shows you where the openings are. Talk to your compliance office before reaching out to any program.
Is a projection a guarantee?
No. It's an estimate built from roster and stats data, tested against past seasons of real transfers. Coaching changes, injuries, and recruiting classes can reshape a room fast.
I'm a parent. Can I sign up?
Yes. Join with your own email and pick "Parent or family." When we open, you can run the lookup with your athlete and pay for the report yourself.
Which sports?
FBS football for the January 2027 window. Men's and women's basketball at FBS schools for the spring 2027 window.
Run your numbers before the window opens.
Athletes and parents on the waitlist get their number first, in signup order.
